The model introduced a new step in the build process, recently I found out that ambient occlusion will compensate for low(er) res textures, so instead of having the entire ship use the tiling textures, instead it was baked into two seperate uv maps and then had AO applied. Which ended up being the correct choice, even if up close we lost all that sweet sweet high resolution detail. Hope ya'll like the ship, there's two death clone animations where the ship breaks in two, the difference is where the pieces fly for a bit of variety on ship death. It no longer breaks appart as you blow it up however. Might come later, might not.
